Daddy's little girls!!

Claire and Merrill at the park around the corner from Nana and Papa's. Merrill was so protective of her that he would have to be right beside her whenever she was doing something at the park. He would say he just didn't want her to get hurt, even though she had been to that park before with me a few times and could climb and slide on all of it just fine.

Merrill and Marissa having fun with the camera at Gran & Gramps in Cardston. It is hard to find a good picture as Merr he is usually the one taking them. That is not one of my talents, like some of you out there with your pretty fancy cameras, I tried one and I still couldn't take a decent picture!!

This is a cute commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9A2Ap3DyvLg

It made me think of Merr, he would be the kind of Dad that would do this with his girls. He watches Barbie movies, buys them flowers, takes them on dates and curls their hair - I only let him when I'm sick JK he does a great job with the straightener! After Merrill did Claire's hair one time, she asked me to do it "the way Daddy did it"- he curled the ends up really curly. I am so glad he is willing and eager to do these kinds of things with and for his girls.

School's In !!

Every year I take a picture of Spencer in front of the school, it's great to see how he grows!
Claire wanted her picture in front of the school too.
A quick picture of his class.
Look how tall my Claire bear is!! she is the tallest in her class.
We are so excited for Spencer to be in gr.3, his teacher is Miss Jodi Jensen she is awesome. Claire was moved into the afternoon Kindergarten class (grrr I don't like afternoons), but atleast she has the same kindergarten teacher Spencer had Mrs. Hironaka is a great teacher to start school with. Marissa and I have a very quiet afternoon as she sleeps for most of the time the kidos are at school.

Just the beginning

Well Here I go!
I have wanted to start blogging for some time now, it can be a little intimidating when some of the blogs I read are almost professional!
My motivation for starting comes from wanting to share my family experiences with my distant family and of course friends here and afar. I hope that it's not too boring!!
